In today's world where women's advancement in society has become commonplace, creating an environment where women can work comfortably even after giving birth is said to be the first step in countering the declining birthrate. In the field of early child education, as in the case of nursing care, the needs of users are diversifying, so not only convenience but also quality of service is required. We need people who not only have the ability to understand the situation but also who can think from the user's perspective. At Hokuto Bunka Academy, we have the practical know-how gained from kindergartens and other institutions in the same group and we have established a practical curriculum that reflects the voices of the field in order to develop early childhood educators suitable for today's world. We cultivate not only human resources who can immediately contribute to society, but also genuine professionals who can provide warmth that will remain in children's memories forever.
From 2011, students can graduate from the "Kindergarten Teacher/Nursery Teacher Training Course" in two years (at the same time as graduation, students will obtain a kindergarten teacher's license and nursery teacher’s qualification).
At Hokuto Bunka Academy's " Hokkaido School of Welfare Education", the "Children's Future Department" has a business alliance with Toyooka Junior College, regarding student recruitment from 2011, the period of study has been shortened allowing students to graduate from three years to two years. As a result, it's now possible to graduate from the "Kindergarten Teacher/Nursery Teacher Training Course" in two years (at the same time as graduation, students will obtain a kindergarten teacher's license and nursery teacher’s qualification). Student’s applications will be accepted starting October 1st. We would like to encourage all students who are considering their career path to take the entrance exam at our school.

Muroran is the gateway to central Hokkaido with good access to Honshu.
Our school has a large number of students not only from within Hokkaido but also from other areas in Japan, especially from the Tohoku area. One of the reasons for this is because Muroran is a relatively warm area and has good transportation access to Sapporo and New Chitose Airport, including JR trains and the expressway. The elegant Swan Bay Bridge is the symbol of Muroran City.
